Classic chess

Classic chess is a strategic two-player board game played on an 8x8 grid consisting of 64 squares. Each player begins with 16 pieces: one king, one queen, two rooks, two bishops, two knights, and eight pawns. The primary objective is to checkmate your opponent’s king, placing it under direct threat of capture with no legal moves to escape.
